How can we make our organisations more democratic? How can we make our work and activism more inclusive in practice? How can we, as activists, practitioners, educators, citizens, members of different movements and organisations, ensure that we implement feminist values at work and in our daily lives?
In the framework of the European Municipalist Network, where CommonsPolis participates, a group of feminist municipalist colleagues from six European cities have come together within the Feministisation of Politics project to think collectively about making politics more feminist.
The Massive Open Online Course – Mooc on Feministisation of Politics will delve into issues of Care, Resources and Power. Each module develops these themes through different elements: videos, interviews, documents and other references that will help to deepen these issues. With this MOOC, we wanted to present the experiences lived within our movements and organisations on the feminisation of our practices and their values. To share why we think feminism is necessary for collective organising, how our movements can care more about their peers, how we can change the way we build our relationships, what resources we can use and where are the organisations and people who are feminising politics in their cities, communities and organisations.
The MOOC *Feminisation*1*We talk about feminisation and not feminisation because it’s about making politics more feminist, not more feminine ;-). of Politics currently online. In English.
