Presentation of the book Ecology and Empowerment at COP16 in Cali (Colombia).

🙌✨Empodera-Almedio-Consultants and @commonspolis will be present at the next biodiversity conference hashtag#COP16Cali to be held in the city of Cali in Colombia from 21 October to 1 November. Diego Escobar, our counterpart in Colombia, will be presenting the results of the book ‘Ecologie et Pouvoir d’Agir’ (Ecology and the Power to Act), the fruit of the collective work of activists, researchers and defenders from 11 countries, thanks to the support of France’s F3E international solidarity platform. We are working together to draw up proposals for rethinking our development models, from the perspective of territories and their inhabitants, ecology and people’s power, from an ecofeminist, decolonial and emancipatory perspective. #COP16 #COP16Colombia #cop16debiodiversidad #COP16Cali

On 29 October, we will have the pleasure of organising two sessions:

📍 **15h** at the Universidad ECCI (Auditorium. Multi-purpose room. 4th floor).
During these events, the book *Ecology and Empowerment* 📖 will be presented, with the exceptional participation of Manuela Royo (Modatima – Chile 🇨🇱), Elena Brito (Universidad ixil Maya – Guatemala 🇬🇹) and Diego Escobar (Empodera-Almedio-Consultores – Colombia 🇨🇴).
