The attempt was to progressively build a municipalist agenda in France and Belgium, and to strengthen direct ties among different organizations, in order to exchange methodological experiences and to solidify a common perspective between municipalism, transition and the commons.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;UE ATTAC 2017&#8243; tab_id=&#8221;1545235606941-97226644-1828&#8243;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/4&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;1466&#8243;][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h5><span lang=\"en-US\">ATTAC SOCIAL MOVEMENTS UNIVERSITY IN TOULOUSE<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">August 23<\/span><sup><span lang=\"en-US\">rd <\/span><\/sup><span lang=\"en-US\">\u2013 27<\/span><sup><span lang=\"en-US\">th<\/span><\/sup><span lang=\"en-US\">, 2017. Over 2000 participants coming from all Europe gathered for 4 days in Toulouse to learn, debate and build the upcoming demonstrations. Two representatives of Marea Atl\u00e1ntica, Mar\u00eda Mart\u00ednez Quintana and Marcial Blance Castelos, took part in the opening debate of <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Curieuses D\u00e9mocraties<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, the first encounter of the French civic electoral lists for the upcoming municipal elections in 2020. The next day, CommonsPolis and Marea Atl\u00e1ntica organized a workshop about the municipalist experience in the Spanish State. Charlotte Marchandise (former presidential candidate for primaires.org) and Eric Piolle, Mayor of Grenoble, also participated in the conference. In this encounter, the municipalist platforms from the Spanish State gathered in A Coru\u00f1a, Galicia. With this new edition came a new format. This collective summer University gathers solidarity, social transformation and ecological transition movements and organizations.
